PTA President

The PTA President oversees the Board and Committees and presides at all Association Meetings and Board Meetings.

Appoints the Corresponding Secretary, The Parliamentarian, The Committee Chairpersons and Committee Members.

Is responsible for preparing the association annual report as is required by the California State PTA.

Is the forefront of our winning team that works towards helping our Students by providing Field Trips, Fun Events and Educational Support Materials.

The Executive Vice President serves as the primary aide to the President and performs the duties of the President in their absence.


The PTA Treasurer is in charge of maintaining our account and records ie: gross income, receipts and disbursements. The Treasurer pays bills generated by PTA as authorized by the Executive Board or the Association.

Financial Secretary

The Financial Secretary makes bank deposits on behalf of the Treasurer.

Recording Secretary

The Recording Secretary keeps an accurate record of the proceedings at all meetings of both the PTA Association and PTA Board.

Prepares a list of all unfinished business for the use of the PTA President.

Keeps a list of the paid members of the association as provided by the membership chairperson.

Keeps a current, signed set of the bylaws and standing rules in a binder.


The PTA Historian puts together and preserves a record of activities, achievements and volunteer hours of the association.

Assists the President with the preparation of the Association's annual report as is required by the California State PTA.


The Parliamentarian shall attend all PTA Board and PTA Association Meetings and give neccessary advice in parliamentary procedure when requested.

Call the first meeting of the PTA Nominating Committee, conduct election of a chairperson and give instructions in procedure, and may be contacted for additional information if needed.


The Auditor prepares a midyear audit to be completed in January.  In addition, a year-end audit is to be completed in July.
