MacArthur Eagles ROCK!
We have exciting news from the City of Lakewood! Beginning on May 10, final construction will take place to reinstall the airplane at Del Valle Park. Therefore, Henry Lee will be closed to traffic from Sunday, May 10 through Monday, May 18th.
You may choose to drop off your student at the front of the school on Centralia or at the open gate on Gondar. We are looking forward to seeing the "landmark" airplane back in place.
Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Congratulations to Ms. Arnold's 2nd graders for their participation in the Pan American Poetry Festival. The event took place on April 14 at Mayfair Park. Student poetry winners were chosen to read their poems aloud to an audience of approximately 300 guests. Those students included Kyle Saetang, Peyton Mann, Madalynn De La Riva and Caden Love. We are very proud of you!
The completion totals for the CORE survey have arrived. MacArthur finished with 100% of our staff, 99.3% of students, and 28.1% of parents (33% of those with e-mail) responding to the survey. The CORE Survey Results will provide us with essential feedback regarding our school's culture and climate. The information you provided will help us set goals for the upcoming school year! Thank you to each of our respondents.
Congratulations MacArthur Chess Team on your first place finish among elementary schools! Last Thursday, our Eagles traveled to Lakewood High School to challenge a dominant Lancer team.
